Chester’s involvement in the food business actually goes back several
generations to the family business started by W.O. Giles in 1952. The original
company focused on food and food preparation equipment, and equipment-related
innovations that really changed food service. We grew over the years and moved
into the supply and support business, providing marinades, breading and batter
to customers. That heritage was the basis for Chester Fried and the beginning
of the Chester’s experience of today.
